Why does everyone think Stone Sheath is not worthy for this list?!

Why?!?!?!

There may be other skills with worse initial effects than Mind Burn, but only Mind Burn will actually make you useless 30s into a battle, waiting several minutes before you can effectively act again. Mind Shock is almost as bad, but it has more up front damage and is less spammable; your max energy level might be safe until 45s into the battle.
Actually, I really like Mind Burn for RA. The exhaustion means that it can't be used in longer-lasting formats, and even then, its not useable on recharge, but the spike is pretty powerful. Im not necessarily saying its a good skill but its not a bad skill when used correctly and certainly not the worst elite (which is what this thread is about).

Huh? we're not describing a list of bad elites, we're giving our opinions on the worst elite skill in the game. Stone Sheath may be bad but I can definitely think of a few elites that are worse. As for the worst elite... well its still amity in my opinion.

Mind Shock is extremely powerful, its single target effect might be the most powerful of all elites (on casters you can do 156 ranged damage + knockdown, with a 1 second cast). Of course it's causing exhaustion, but 1) it would be so OP if it didn't and 2) you won't need to use it on recharge all the time anyway.

I've used mind shock to get many win streaks in RA. More consistently than most other builds. Combined with the ability to spike your target and blind them with blinding flash and the incredible number of monks who don't bring Protective Spirit it's one of the easiest ways to consistently kill your target or keep them on the ground with an ele.

Shatter Storm has my vote. Gaze of Contempt does the same thing and its not elite.

Shatter Storm is a relatively cheap multi-enchantment removal that has a 1 second cast and does not punish the user for using it on non-enchanted foes. The number of enchantments that are usually on a target is around 2-3 in almost every metagame, and a 14-21 second recharge is nothing to laugh at.

The reason you don't see it often enough is because Pain of Disenchantment is leagues better than Shatter Storm, but teams have been known to run it when they couldn't afford the attribute spread.

Gotta disagree on the decapitate. It's is absolutely the most powerful spike skill a Warrior can bring in PvP. Just the fact that 90% of the GW players don't know how to use it properly doesn't mean it is bad. It's an amazing finishing move.

Most elites seem useful in at least some obscure way. I'd say Greater Conflagration, Withdraw Hexes, Illusionary Weaponry and Reclaim Essence are the least useful. Can still imagine a use for the first three, so I'll go with Reclaim Essence as worst elite.

There are few elites that would make me kick the player bringing them from my group where I the leader.
Defy Pain and Decapitate are the two Warrior ones that immediately come to mind, but Defy Pain has a use - just not a good one.
Decapitate might as well not exist with some immediately better options - namely Eviscerate.

Don't you feel as if you're not getting something?

Edit:
Oh, I missed Illusionary Weapon from my list.

The sarcasm was lost on you it seems.

Also I see so many useful elites in this thread (PvP based), I guess they can't match up in PvE land...

Don't think Amity is the most useless elite skill in the game, it CAN be used for some stuff, buy it usually isn't, because it's still a waste of an elite slot..

I'd say Balthazar's Pendulum is even more useless..

At least Amity could be used in a well-coordinated PvP team to shut down the melee, while you clean up the casters. Downside: Hex removal (cover hexes ftw hehe, cover with Pacifism or something xD) but indeed, Pacifism can be used too...

That's the kind of theorycraft that doesn't hold up in practice.

Also, Balthazar's Pendulum was integral to the unkillable dR VoD build.

Honestly though, I don't see how anyone could argue against Withdraw Hexes being the most useless. It has zero redeeming merits.
